Doug Gordon was raised in the Boston area. Upon moving to North Carolina he pursued a BA in Media Production and History from UNC at Chapel Hill. Returning to Massachusetts, he received his MFA in Film at Boston University. Doug's credits include various short films, commercials and documentaries. Most Recently: As Writer, Director and Producer of "Sully", a short film which received the Fleder Rosenberg Best Screeenplay Award at the Redstone Film Festival.
As Director of Photography for "The Pearl River Delta", a NASA sponsored documentary exploring the socio-economic and geographical land change in South China.
As Camera Operator on "The Fourth", a documentary about the Nation's oldest Fourth of July Celebration in Bristol, Rhode Island. After working as Rental Manager at Hand Held Films in Manhattan last year, Doug has returned again to Boston and recently taught Film Production at Harvard University for The New York Film Academy.
